Bucky the Bunny was inspired by my son Buchanan and celebrates the many different ways children experience the world.

Meet Bucky — a bunny whose brain works in its own wonderful way. He loves numbers, animals, colours and building amazing things.

Sometimes the world feels busy and loud. But when his friends slow down and join him, they discover something extraordinary.

Beautifully illustrated in watercolour, Bucky the Bunny is a story about neurodiversity and friendship. Written for children aged 3–8, it opens the door to conversations about different ways of thinking, learning and experiencing the world.
